Open to entries in 2 different age groups: 25 and below, 26 and above
Post your submission to your Instagram/ Facebook or Email to firstname.lastname@example.org within the campaign period, 16th May to 16th July 2021.
Please ensure your Instagram/ Facebook account is set to public so that we can see your entries. (If your account is private, we will not be able to see it)
In the caption or in the email body, include a caption that describes the essence moment captured in your photo. You can tag the subject/location of the photo in your Instagram/ Facebook post but please do not tag other brands other than Darlie.
There is no restriction on the type of camera or phone cameras used or the date of capture. Please restrict editing to normal post processing and minor editing (This is not a Photoshop DI contest 😊)
All submissions automatically grant Darlie the rights to use submitted photos on Darlie-owned media platforms within 2021.

Hawley & Hazel Chemical Co., Singapore (Pte) Ltd (“Darlie”) will run the【Photo Campaign】(“Campaign”) from【16 May 2021 00:00:001】to【16 July 2021 23:59:59】 (“Campaign Period”). Anyone who participates in the Campaign (“Participant”) shall agree with all the terms and conditions herein.
The Participants shall read the instructions of the Campaign before participating in the Campaign. Darlie has the right to revise the said instructions from time to time during the Campaign Period and Darlie has the absolute discretion to suspend, modify or terminate this Campaign without any prior notice. The Participants shall not raise any objections.
Campaign Entry. To enter this Campaign, you need to post your submission to your Instagram/FB or email to email@example.com with your photos of a person or a group of people (limited to you or your family members or your friends) in an essence moment which capture their genuine smiles.
• In the caption or in the email body, do write a caption that describes the essence moment captured in your entry. You can tag the subject of the photo, but don’t tag other brands other than Darlie.
• There is no restriction on the type of camera used or the date of capture. Even mobile phone cameras can be used. But please restrict editing to normal post processing and minor editing (this is not a Photoshop DI Campaign).
• Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photographs will be disqualified. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, converting color images to black and white are allowed.
• Entries that have won prizes in other competitions, or have been previously published or are intended to be published are not qualified for entry.
• This contest is eligible only for people residing in Singapore.
• Please make sure that your posts are set to public or we will not be able to see it, otherwise entry is invalid.
• All entries and posts must be original works of the participants and shall not infringe the intellectual property rights and other rights of any third parties.
TAG. In order for us and everyone else to see your entry, please tag your image with #essencemomentswithdarlie and tag @darliesg and the geolocation so that we know where it is taken. All entries must contain a short caption of not more than 30 words, excluding Hashtags and geo location tags.
Winning Prizes. 1 Apple MacBook Pro 13inch worth $2500 for each age category. And Winners will be determined and announced by Darlie.
• This Campaign opens to entries in 2 different age groups: 13 – 25 Category (“25 and under”) and 26 + Category (“26 and above”). Each participant under each age category can only win one prize once.
• Darlie reserves the right to change, add or substitute the prizes or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• All prizes are to be self-collected at the location designated by Darlie. Winners shall provide the valid contact details and proof of age group, otherwise such entry is invalid.
• All prizes cannot be returned and/or exchanged for cash.
• Two winners will be determined and announced by Darlie on 30/7/2021.
• any Participant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions or commits any illegal, dishonest, or improper acts in participation of the Campaign.; and/or
• Participants are not eligible or unable to provide proof of eligibility to participate in this Campaign for verification when Darlie requested. and/or
• Employees of Darlie [including associated and related companies] and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, including spouses]; and/ or
• The Representative, staff, employees and / or agents of the advertising and / or promotion services of the Darlie [including its affiliated and related companies], and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, including spouses].
• Individuals who have a direct relationship with the staff of Darlie [including associates and related companies]
In the event of a disqualification after a prize has been awarded, Darlie reserves the right to demand for the return of the prize.
• If the above content involves the portrait and other personal information of the other person, the participant guarantees that he/she has legally obtained the authorization from that person.
• In the event that a Participant is younger than 18 years of age at the date of participation, the Participant is required to obtain written consent from his/her parent/guardian before joining this Campaign and upon request by Darlie will be required to present the same.
If any of the provisions in these Terms and Conditions are deemed invalid, illegal, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision will be ineffective and deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
No person other than the parties to these terms and conditions shall have any rights under it nor shall it be enforceable by any person other than the parties to it.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of Singapore all the parties hereto hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts in connection with any matters arising hereunder.
The judges’ decision is final, and it is based on how well the essence moment is depicted.
If there is any dispute over Campaign or these Terms and Conditions, Darlie shall have the final decision.
Entering this Campaign, all participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Darlie, its affiliates and agencies, and their employees, officers, directors and representatives from any claims, losses or damages arising out of or in connection with their participation in this Campaign (including but not limited to, any error in computing any transaction, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, infringement of any Intellectual Property Rights including but not limited to Copy right), any Redemption-related activities and the acceptance and/or use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.
Darlie is not a manufacturer/ supplier of prizes and does not make any representations, explicit or implied warranties on the quality, safety, and applicability of the prizes.
Unless stipulated otherwise, all transportation cost, internet charges, personal expenses and/or any other costs, fees and/or any kind of expenses incurred by the Participants in connection with this Campaign (whether for the purpose of joining, participating in or receiving any benefit or prizes from the Campaign) are the sole responsibility of the Participants. Darlie, its affiliates, agents or participating agencies shall not be responsible whatsoever for the said costs, fees and expenses.
The Participant acknowledges that his/her participation in the Campaign shall be at his/her own risks. Participant shall abide by the laws of the land in relation to social distancing and no fly zones
